Facet POSI-FLOW Electrical Fuel Pumps.
The Facet Posi-Flow range is a relatively new range of compact fuel pumps, exceptionally well suited for classic cars and trucks.
Compact dimensions and few, if any, moving parts make for a reliable, easy to hide fuel pump solution.
Only available in 12 Volt, with negative earth, the maximum width is around 88mm not accounting for any fuel unions, while the height is some 60mm.
The width of the base is around 78mm with a heart-to-heart distance for the bolt holes of 65mm.
Flow-rates vary between 25 and 32 Gallons per hour.
We can currently supply two versions of this pump:
- 60104 - Low Pressure - 25 GPH - 1.5 to 4.0 psi
- 60106 - Medium Pressure - 32 GPH - 4.0 to 6.0 psi
As with virtually all pumps, also the Posi-Flow pumps are better at "pushing" fuel down a fuel line that "sucking" in towards itself.
Therefore, please mount the pumps as close to your fuel tank and as close to the lowest fuel level in that tank as possible.
The pumps are supplied without any fuel unions but the tread is 1/8" NPT which you can find HERE and where there is ample choice of unions.
To make the unions seal correctly , you can either use our high-quality PTFE tape or Loctite 542 Thread Locker & Sealant.
We advise you to use a 3 Amp fuse to secure the pump and please always use a good quality filter to prevent your pump from getting contaminated with grit from your fuel tank.
Such a filter is our FPA906 Filter.
Depending on your vehicle, carburetor and of course the pump of your choice, it might be necessary to use a Fuel Pressure Regulator.
Please check the specs of both your carburetor and Posi-Flow pump of your choice to be sure.
A last word of advise is to always use an impact-activated fuel cut-off switch which shuts down your electric pump in case of a heavy collision.

The Posi-Flow pumps are suitable for virtually all vehicles with combustion engines and fed by carburetors such as (classic) cars, vans, trucks, generators, agricultural equipment, gasoline and diesel engines, marine engines and construction equipment.
